Basavaraj Kusugal

Director

Basavaraj Kusugal is one of the founding Director’s of Simple Minds H R Consultants Pvt. Ltd. He is a management graduate from SDM Institute for Management Development, Mysore and possesses over 15 years of Industry experience primarily in Banking and Finance. His last assignment was with Equitas Small Finance Bank as Deputy Vice-President & Cluster Head.

Basavaraj is a first-generation entrepreneur. He began his career in 1998 with Gokaldas Images, a garment exporter in Bengaluru and thereafter moved to Hubli in the year 2002. He was with Sundaram Home Finance for about 20 months before joining HDFC Bank in 2004. He was an integral part of the team that setup the first branch of HDFC Bank in North Karnataka. Overall, he brings in his rich experience in Marketing, Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Relationship Banking, etc.

Prashant Naik

Director

Prashant Naik is one of the founding Director’s of Simple Minds H R Consultants Pvt. Ltd. He has done his Masters in Commerce (Costing) from Karnataka University, Dharwad. He is a first generation entrepreneur and possesses about 20 years of Industry experience, mostly in Banking. He started his career at The Hubli Urban Co-op Bank in the year 1998, moved on to join IDBI Bank in the year 2001 and worked there in various roles for about 4 years before joining HDFC Bank.

At HDFC Bank, he headed Davanagere and Hubli branches and expanded presence across north Karnataka. He also led a special project with respect to Branch Launches of the Bank and he was instrumental in launching three branches i.e. Gangavathi, Jamakhandi and Gokak Branches as a part of this project. In the year 2012, he joined ICICI Bank as a Cluster Manager at Gulbarga and a year later moved to manage a bigger cluster i.e Belgaum. After a three year stint with ICICI Bank, he joined RBL Bank as Asst. Vice President. With a fire in the belly to start something on his own, Prashant started as one of the Directors in a company called ProWish Advisory Services Private Limited, which is basically into Financial Services – both on credit and on Investments side. He brings in his rich experience in Sales and Marketing, Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Relationship Banking, etc. to the company.

Anita Karthik

Founder

Anita Karthik is one of the founders of Simple Minds H R Consultants Pvt. Ltd. She is a management graduate (HR Gold Medalist) from SDM Institute for Management Development and possesses about 8 years of Industry experience especially in Recruitment, Training & Development, Performance Appraisal Management, Succession Planning and Change Management. Anita is a first generation entrepreneur.

She began her career in 2002 with Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B) as research Associate. After that she moved on to join Toyota Kirloskar Motors, Bangalore and worked there for about 5 years. Post that she moved to London and worked there in different companies. Her stay and exposure to an International Business hub like London gave rich experience in working with different cultures both professional and personal. She had the opportunity there to handle and manage staff from diverse background and cultures. Overall she brings in rich experience in Recruitment, Training and development, Appraisal Management, Succession Planning, Change Management, etc. to the company.
